Looking for a church?

We can help you start one!

The early Church met in homes, in small and intimate gatherings of believers where they would not only worship, but they helped strengthen and sharpen one another to live out Jesus Christ’s example and teachings.

Our mission is to serve God and others by building the body of Christ and equipping those interested in hosting a “micro-fellowship.”

And this is the promise that He has promised us—eternal life.

— 1st John 2:25

Have you ever struggled to find a church? Or felt that you had to compromise to attend one? You can start your own, and we can help!

The early Church met in small gatherings, so if you have a desire to build the body of Christ and support other believers, we’d love to work with you to launch your own micro-fellowship.

There is nothing in the Bible that restricts believers to only attending an established church. But maybe there isn’t a solid, Free Grace, Bible-teaching church in your area?

What is the Promise Fellowship?

The Promise Fellowship is a network of local “micro-fellowship” assemblies of believers in Jesus Christ, committed to teaching sound biblical doctrine from a focused free grace and dispensational perspective.

This is a crucial term that is connected to fundamental doctrine. Nearly all—if not all—traditions in Christendom state that eternal salvation is by grace. However, there is a vast difference in what is meant by the word “grace.” Focused Free Grace Theology relies solely on the biblical meaning of “grace,” with precision in what we mean by the “object of our saving faith.”

The biblical meaning of the word simply means, “unmerited favor” and has no explicit or implicit association with a person’s works, actions, thoughts, behaviors, or sins. The “focused” part means that we are precise in the “object” of our saving faith—meaning, when we believe, we understand precisely what we have believed in. We hold to that object being the Person of Jesus Christ, and His promise of everlasting life. We believe that it is incorrect to state that the object of faith is believing in Christ’s death or His resurrection. Those details are crucial and are relevant to eternal salvation, but not as the object that one must believe in.

Because Jesus is God, and God is perfectly faithful to His promises, we can be assured that we have everlasting life because He has promised it to whoever believes (John 3.16).

This is simply a term to describe a smaller and intimate local assembly. We view this model as more closely aligned to the function of the early Church. The Church is intended for learning, understanding the Bible, and asking questions. That is why we have the word “micro” in “micro-fellowship.”

By being a smaller, more intimate group, we can have a dialogue and grow and learn together instead of a one-way sermon or lecture. This does not mean that larger gatherings are sinful, this is only our preferred model.

A “dispensation” in Scripture is nothing more than a period of time in which God interacted with man in a certain way for a certain purpose.

A dispensational perspective is a system of thought for understanding the Bible. The theology that arises from this system of thought is only the natural and inevitable result of interpreting plainly what Scripture says. The fundamental presuppositions of this system are a doxological emphasis in the narrative of Scripture, a literal grammatical-historical hermeneutic, and a clear distinction between the Church and the nation of Israel.
